Personal Information We Collect Directly From You

By signing up to Social Layer you have to enter a valid email address, your phone number and a password you'd like to use. Your email address and phone number are used to identify you in Social Layer and are needed to log in to the Service. Email and phone number can also be used to recover a forgotten password.

If you want to, Social Layer will email you periodic newsletters about new and interesting content in Social Layer. Newsletters can be disabled in your personal settings in Social Layer.

Data We Collect When You Use Social Layer

To use the Service, we need to collect some data from your actions in the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, you subscribing to a channel or reading an article. We keep track of all the channels you're subscribed to and all the articles you have read. If you share an article using the short url, we will also keep track how many times that link has been opened.
